Woodina recognises that having a claim is often stressful. Woodina have therefore partnered with a national law firm, Colin Biggers & Paisley Lawyers, to offer a valuable support service for our insureds. All Realcover insureds have access to a complimentary legal consultation hotline to obtain free advice regarding the onset of a potential professional indemnity circumstance.

An insured may seek up to two hours of free legal advice from Colin Biggers & Paisley Lawyers concerning any matter related to the risk insured by the policy provided that:

1. the legal advice is sought during the policy period;
2. the insured must provide Colin Biggers & Paisley Lawyers with the details of the policy reference number and policy period; and 
3. the legal advice is limited to one hour in relation to any particular matter up to a maximum of two hours per policy period.
Colin Biggers & Paisley Lawyers is unable to accept notifications of claims or facts that might give rise to a claim against the insured on behalf of Woodina. Notifications & claims are to be issued to MAI  


Notifying MAI of a notification claim
If you receive any correspondence or are notified of a potential claim, all details and documents should be forwarded to MAI will immediately notify Woodina insurance of the potential/actual notification or claim made against you.

What Next?
Once Woodina has been notified of the circumstance and have carried out a thorough review, a claim representative will contact you to discuss the future conduct of the matter and if necessary will appoint an external legal services advisor.
