About Us
The Real Estate Institute of New South Wales (REINSW) decided it was time to take control of rising premiums and cover restrictions affecting the real estate industry. REINSW devised a solution that was workable and allowed the Real Estate industry to have a greater say and stronger control over professional indemnity insurance. Realcover was launched in March 2004 and has been hugely successful.
We are the only real estate industry owned professional indemnity insurer, regulated by the Australian Insurance Regulator (APRA) and backed by a superior rated reinsurer.
